I’m currently in Da Nang, and I must admit, I didn’t do my homework. As a result, I got completely ripped off at the night market, and it’s left me feeling really disappointed 😰. The place that gave me such a bad experience is a seafood stall in the night market, as shown in picture 4. We were greeted by a girl who spoke Chinese, and she offered us two catties of lobster and three side dishes for 600,000 VND.

When the food arrived, I was utterly shocked. Unfortunately, I don’t have any pictures to show, but trust me, it was far from fresh, and they even switched our order. If you ever find yourself in a similar situation, steer clear of this place. Don’t be swayed by their offers; instead, firmly tell them that others have reported their food as being subpar and not fresh.

To top it all off, the weather has been terrible these days, adding to the overall gloom. #China

I feel your pain! That sounds like a super frustrating experience, especially when you’re expecting a fun trip. Maybe do some research on average prices before heading to the night market next time? It’s a shame when one bad interaction spoils an otherwise cool city.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts! I totally agree that doing price research beforehand can help avoid unpleasant surprises. Despite these hiccups, Da Nang is full of hidden gems worth exploring. Thanks for the tip—it’ll definitely make future visits smoother!
