Currently in Shanghai and ready to jet off to Chiang Mai at a moment’s notice! I’m on the lookout for a like-minded buddy to share an apartment, dive into Muay Thai, capture stunning photos, and hit up some shopping. Planning to stay in Chiang Mai for at least a month 🦦. Initially, I was considering Da Nang, Vietnam, for a more laid-back vibe, but it seems Chiang Mai might offer a richer array of activities.

The costs are pretty similar, though. Any thoughts [sly grin] on which destination is better for a budget-friendly, low-key stay? Chiang Mai, Da Nang, or even Nepal? With 3k RMB for rent and expenses, I’m aiming to cover food, fun, and entertainment ~ (The struggles of being unemployed 😵💨). I’m a 24-year-old female, well-traveled with visits to over 20 countries, an ENTJ, and someone who loves a good chat and a bit of mischief.
I thrive on adventures and making new friends, and I can’t stand being alone [crying emoji].
I totally get why Chiang Mai would be a better fit than Da Nang if you’re looking for more activities! Muay Thai and shopping sound like such fun ways to explore the city. Just imagine all the amazing stories you’ll have sharing an apartment with someone who’s as adventurous as you are. Safe travels and good luck finding that perfect match!
