Hoi An is a small town, and if you’re in a rush, you can choose a day trip. It’s about an hour’s drive from Da Nang, and you can choose to hire a car or use Grab 🚗. We came directly to Hoi An after landing, and we had arranged for a driver to pick us up at the airport before leaving for Vietnam. The driver was quite good, with excellent service, but he didn’t speak much English.
Hoi An is really a beautiful place – a pretty ancient city 🏮. In Hoi An, there are colorful old houses, lanterns, and temples everywhere, and it feels completely different during the day and at night. During the day, Hoi An is perfect for strolling through the narrow streets of the ancient city, and every photo you take will look great [selfie R].
At night, Hoi An is lit up with lanterns, which is very beautiful. It’s perfect for taking a boat ride and releasing water lanterns, making a wish, and it’s super romantic [cute R].

✨ Banh Mi Phuong 🥖 – Vietnamese baguette, crispy on the outside, with plenty of filling, very satisfying.

✨ Cham Cham Restaurant – A restaurant with a great atmosphere and exquisite dishes; you can try their Vietnamese pho and white rose dumplings 🥟

✨ 92 Station – The view from the rooftop over the street is beautiful, but it’s a bit sunny ☀️
✨ Com Linh – Internet-famous Vietnamese food, very popular, we waited for half an hour 😢, but the food tasted pretty good

【Activities】
✨ Coconut boat tour: The experience is 💯, the boatman will perform spinning, it’s super fun 🛶 (tickets were bought from Klook)
✨ Releasing water lanterns: Taking a small boat to release water lanterns, a nice experience. If you don’t want to take a boat, you don’t need to buy a ticket, as many people sell water lanterns by the river (tickets were bought from Klook)
【Accommodation】
✨ The hotel we stayed at in Hoi An was Le Pavillion Gallery Hoi An, and this hotel really impressed me [wow R] with its French-style design, the room was very high-quality, and the service was also great. Breakfast is buffet style with a lot of choices, and the facilities are complete.
【Transportation】
