A city bustling with Western tourists

After wandering through countless ancient towns across the country, this place initially felt a bit monotonous; the old town is heavily commercialized, which, while typical for a thriving tourism industry that fuels local employment, can sometimes strip away the authentic charm.

By a stroke of luck, I stumbled upon a travel guide featuring Hoi An’s serene beaches and picturesque countryside. Intrigued, I decided to venture out and was delightfully surprised by the natural beauty and tranquil atmosphere.

I totally get why the old town feels commercialized—it’s a common trade-off for places with such a strong tourism scene. But discovering those hidden beaches sounds amazing! It’s always great to find a peaceful spot away from the crowded areas.
