✨Day 1
DaNang International Airport —> Hoi An
Grab: VND 360k
Right after stepping out of the airport, follow the Grab Ride signs. The drivers will be waiting there, so no need to stress about finding them (check the last picture for reference).

Dinner in the ancient town of Hoi An

Dinner: Morning Glory Original
We tried White Rose, Cao Lau, Pho, and Fried Wanton with Crab Meat. The prices were a bit steep, which is typical for a tourist area, and the place was bustling with foreigners. Unfortunately, the food was just average.

Massage: Herbal Spa (near the ancient town)
Highly recommended! It costs around VND500k per person for an hour. They let you choose the scent of the essential oil, and you can fill out a form to indicate your preferred pressure for different body parts. The private rooms ensure a quiet and relaxing experience. After the massage, they serve a delightful spread of fruit, small cookies, and yogurt 😆

✨Day 2
Ancient Town of Hoi An
We skipped the coconut boat ride due to the intense sun.

Evening Lantern Boat 🏮🛶
Tickets are available by the river, priced at VND170,000 per boat (1-3 people). It’s a magical way to end the day.

We also visited a lantern shop for some quick photos, which cost VND 10k per person (only 1-2 minutes of shooting time). There are plenty of stalls, so take your time to find the one that catches your eye.

Went back to the hotel to wash my hair at night 😆

🍽️ Eating and drinking in the ancient town of Hoi An:
🥤MOT Lotus Tea – highly recommended, especially on a scorching day. It’s so refreshing that I even went back for a second cup.
☕️Uncle Huan – Egg Coffee & Coconut Coffee
🌮Banh Mi Phuong – delicious and budget-friendly, also offering Cao Lau noodles in the store.
🍰Highland Coffee – Guava drink, Coffee, and Tiramisu cake
🍜Cao Lau Ba Le Restaurant – tucked away in a small alley, this place serves amazing Cao Lau Noodles, Quang Noodles, and Spring Rolls, all at great value.
Precautions ⚠️
Unlike Thai massages, Vietnamese massages typically close earlier, often by 10 PM. So, plan your relaxation time accordingly.
Sunscreen, sunscreen, sunscreen!
The sun in Hoi An is no joke. Wearing a sleeveless top, my shoulders turned red almost instantly 🥹
The Hoi An itinerary ends here 🔚
I love how you included all the practical details like the Grab ride cost and where to find the driver. The dinner at Morning Glory Original sounds amazing too! I’ve always wanted to visit Hoi An, and your itinerary makes me even more excited to plan my trip.
