I anticipated a long wait, so I decided to arrive early at the Mara River and secure a prime viewing spot.
To my surprise, the action started almost immediately with two wildebeest crossings right as I got there. In just a single morning, I witnessed an incredible eight crossings, all from the very same location. What an extraordinary stroke of luck!
The wildebeest crossings sound absolutely thrilling! It’s amazing how being in the right place at the right time can make such a huge difference.
