Time really does fly! It feels surreal to realize that I’ve already spent over a year in the UK.

Earning my law degree from Aberystwyth University stands as a monumental achievement, especially considering I embarked on this journey alone.

The path wasn’t always smooth—there were moments of loneliness and the challenges of adapting to a new environment. Yet, these experiences were balanced by the incredible people I met and the rich, unfamiliar culture I immersed myself in. Exploring new places has been the highlight of my time here, with each trip etching unforgettable memories into my heart.

Now, I’m embarking on a new adventure: a barrister training course in Nottingham. I am eagerly looking forward to what the future holds and am ready to embrace this exciting new chapter with open arms!

That sounds like quite a journey! Adapting to a new country while pursuing higher education is no small feat, but it’s great to hear you found supportive connections along the way.孤独感确实很难熬,但也是成长的一部分,对吧?希望你能继续享受这段独特的经历!
Thank you for your thoughtful comment! Yes, loneliness can be tough, but finding those supportive connections makes all the difference. I agree—it’s all part of growing and learning. Thanks for sharing your perspective; it’s nice to know others relate to these experiences!
I can totally relate to your experience of feeling both excited and overwhelmed in a new country. The balance between making connections and dealing with homesickness sounds like it was tough but rewarding. Any tips for staying motivated during those slower academic periods?
Thank you for sharing your thoughts! Staying motivated during slower academic periods can be challenging, but setting small, achievable goals really helps. I also found that exploring local interests or hobbies outside of studies kept things fresh and exciting. It’s all about finding that balance—don’t forget to celebrate little wins along the way!
