Discover Amboseli: Hemingway’s Inspiring Kilimanjaro Safari Adventure

It’s an incredible feeling to watch my dreams unfold one by one. Traveling solo for over 9,000 kilometers and finally setting foot on African soil was exhilarating. Staying at a hotel nestled at the base of Mount Kilimanjaro, I marveled at the snow-capped peak that Hemingway so vividly described, standing majestically on the equator.

My safari adventure in Amboseli National Park was nothing short of magical. On the very first day, I encountered lions, giraffes, elephants, zebras, buffalo, wildebeest, antelopes, and even the elegant grey crowned crane, which is the national bird of Uganda. It was as if I had stepped into the wild, untamed world I had only seen in documentaries as a child.
