I traveled halfway around the world, spending 35 hours to reach Peru, and every moment was worth it. I savored the delicious Peruvian cuisine, experienced the electrifying atmosphere of South American football, marveled at the ancient wonders of Machu Picchu, and, of course, met my online girlfriend in person.
Her family welcomed me with open arms, making me feel right at home from the very beginning. Their warmth and hospitality were truly remarkable, no joke.
In P2, you’ll see a variety of Peruvian dishes. Many people describe them as salty, but I found them incredibly flavorful. My absolute favorite was Arroz Con Mariscos, a delightful seafood rice dish. I wasn’t as fond of Anticuchos (grilled beef heart), though almost every Peruvian I met raved about this traditional delicacy.
P4 captures the excitement of a World Cup qualifier match I watched at the National Stadium of Peru. The energy in the stadium was nothing short of electric!
P5: Machu Picchu left me in awe, but the one-day round trip was quite exhausting. The night before, I arrived in Cusco by plane at 11 PM, set off for Machu Picchu at 3 AM, and didn’t return to the hotel until 11:30 PM. It was a long day, but the breathtaking views and historical significance made it all worthwhile.
P8 features Maido, the fifth-best restaurant in the world and the top in Latin America. The culinary experience there was simply unforgettable.
P9 introduces Inca Kola, which has become my new favorite soda. Its unique flavor is a must-try for any visitor to Peru.
