However, by the afternoon, when we ventured out to hike at Mount Cook, the sky miraculously cleared, revealing a breathtaking panorama of glaciers, lakes, and snow-capped peaks under a comfortable, mild temperature. The scenery was absolutely stunning, with every vista more captivating than the last!
For those planning to explore the Tasman Glacier, be sure to choose your route carefully—there are several options, and it’s easy to get confused. I learned this the hard way when I accidentally picked the wrong path and found myself on the mountain instead.
