[SunR] Sandfly Bay, you are absolutely breathtaking!!
I had a tough choice between Tunnel Beach and Sandfly Bay, but I went with the latter, and it was an incredible decision! The experience was beyond satisfying!
[Blue HeartR] The endless South Pacific is truly mesmerizing, and the layered waves are incredibly soothing!
The vast expanse of the South Pacific, with its sea breeze, rolling waves, mist, and dramatic cliff faces, creates a sense of being at the edge of the world. With few people around, it felt like we were the only ones there! We even spotted a sea lion 
that blended seamlessly into the rocky landscape!
[StarR] TIPS:
[OneR] Head to the Sandfly Bay Carpark for free parking, then follow the clear signs and start your journey.
[TwoR] A short 5-minute walk will take you to a viewing platform with a stunning panoramic view; or, if you’re up for a bit more adventure, take the trail down to the beach (about 1-1.
5 hours round trip).
[ThreeR] While sea lions are not abundant, you can definitely spot a few near the rocks, though they blend in so well that you need to keep your eyes peeled. Always maintain a safe distance, as they can become defensive if you get too close.
[FourR] The path up and down is covered in soft, fine sand, which can be quite challenging and may easily fill your shoes.
Be prepared for a bit of a workout!
[FiveR] Don’t forget to check the weather forecast—on a sunny day, the scenery is nothing short of spectacular!
Sandfly Bay sounds amazing! I can totally see why you chose it over Tunnel Beach. The views and atmosphere seem unforgettable.
