When I first set eyes on Auckland, I must admit, the city didn’t exactly sweep me off my feet. The sight of construction sites scattered everywhere and the multitude of hills left a rather underwhelming impression 
. However, everything changed when I hopped on the ferry to Devonport. The moment I stepped aboard, the city’s true charm began to unfold, revealing an open and romantic atmosphere

As I disembarked and made my way towards Mount Victoria, each step up the hill offered breathtaking views, allowing me to fully soak in the stunning panorama of the entire city

I totally get that initial impression of Auckland—it can be a bit overwhelming at first! But the ferry ride to Devonport sounds like the perfect way to see the city’s beauty. Those scenic views and the vibe on Mount Victoria must be incredible. I’d definitely add that to my list if I ever visit!
