After scouring the internet for ages and coming up empty-handed on specific official booking guides, I decided to create a simple one myself [Laughing R][Laughing R]. If you’re looking to book the all-inclusive package at Perhentian Island Resort (PIR), this guide should be your go-to (since most travel apps don’t offer this package).
1. Start by visiting the official website of Perhentian Island Resort. If you have trouble finding it, feel free to reach out to me privately for assistance.
2. When you book the all-inclusive package directly through the official website, you’ll find that round-trip boat tickets are included, along with various snorkeling packages to choose from. We opted for the snorkeling package plus airport pick-up service, scheduled from June 9th to June 12th (refer to P2 for more details).
This comprehensive package includes six snorkeling sessions, welcome drinks, three meals a day, round-trip boat tickets, and an optional airport pick-up service. You can add the airport pick-up when booking, with the choice between Kota Bharu Airport and Kuala Terengganu Airport. Generally, it’s recommended to use Kota Bharu Airport (KBR), so make sure not to confuse it with another airport.
3. As our trip coincided with my birthday, we inquired about special services offered by the resort. These include a romantic beach candlelight dinner, room decoration, a bouquet, and a cake reservation (check P3 and P4 for detailed descriptions and pricing).
4. For payments on the official website, simply enter your card number during the checkout process. The charges will be based on the real-time exchange rate, and you can pay using either UnionPay or Visa.
5. Boat departures to the island are scheduled at 11:00, 14:00, and 16:00, while return trips from the island are at 8:00, 12:00, and 16:00. Make sure to plan your arrival and departure times accordingly.
6. The resort’s email address is also available on the official website. If you have any questions or need further assistance, don’t hesitate to send them an email. They are responsive from Monday to Friday.
