Everyone keeps saying “Api Api,” but the ticket clearly states Kota Kinabalu. As a foreigner, I was momentarily baffled. When I was checking in my luggage at the airport, the ground staff asked me where I was headed. I confidently replied, “Api,” and they looked utterly confused. Then, with a bit of stiffness, I said, “Kota Kinabalu,” and they burst into laughter.
