This is my first time in Penang, and with such perfect weather, I was determined not to let it go to waste! The idea of heading up to Batu Ferringhi in the north to catch the sunset seemed like the perfect plan!

I had no idea it would be so incredibly relaxing!!

Now I totally get why all my friends who have visited Kuala Lumpur rave about Penang!!
Before setting out, I checked the sunset time ⏰ 7:29 pm, and we made sure to arrive around 6 pm. Many people had recommended Bora Bora, but when we got there, the guy at the entrance informed us that the front row seats came with an extra charge of 50 ringgit each [石化R], and a spot under a tree would set us back 350 ringgit.

.. Personally, I didn’t think it was worth it! So, we opted for the Japanese restaurant next door, and the food was fantastic! It appeared to be run by Chinese, as they were playing Chinese songs [偷笑R], and the waiter even spoke Chinese!
We settled in, started our meal, and then the breathtaking sunset began, lasting almost an hour.

The sky turned a vibrant orange 🍊, casting a warm glow over the sea, and finally, a bonfire party lit up the night~

I’ve always loved sunsets, but Penang’s really took my breath away! The colors over the sea were so vibrant, just like the article described. I can totally see why people rave about this place now—it’s pure magic!
