We’ll arrive at BoraBora by 6:01, so no need to make a phone reservation. Since it’s not too crowded yet, we can head straight to the second floor for the best view, just like at that charming sweet potato place 🏝️

Although the view is a bit obstructed by trees, it still offers a fantastic backdrop for some stunning backshot photos! 🌊🤳

(The minimum spend is RM80, and we decided to go for a seafood platter and a burger with fries. The food was decent, and the service was impressively quick! Plus, they accept Alipay 🉑)

On our way back to the hotel, the driver mentioned that this is the only beach in Penang where you can enjoy the sunset with the sand beneath your feet. There’s another spot for sunset viewing, but it doesn’t have the same beachy vibe.

The beach sounds amazing, I love how the trees add character to the photos. Have you tried going earlier to see if there’s an even better spot? BoraBora seems popular but worth it for the view. Enjoy your time there!
