📍Penang Road Famous TeoChew Chendol (Figure 2)
The owner is very friendly and works quickly, so even if there’s a long queue, it’s your turn soon. The Chendol is very refreshing, and there’s a portrait of him behind that you can take photos with!

📍Penang Road Famous Jin Kor Char Kuey Teow (Figure 3)
Located in the tea room behind the Chendol, this place is recommended by the Michelin Guide. The taste is good, with a strong egg flavor and wok hei, though the portion is a bit small.

📍888 Hokkien Mee (Figure 4)
I had it a few years ago and couldn’t forget the “Hokkien Mee.” It’s a must-have dinner when in Penang. There’s also a stall selling oyster omelets, which are quite good, with very fresh oysters.

📍Apon Chooi (Figure 5)
For afternoon tea, try a few slices. The texture is soft and chewy, with banana inside. One person can easily finish 5 slices, so one pack per person is just right [okR].

📍Frandy Beach Bar Penang (Figure 6)
Went for the evening fireworks show and to dine on the beach, but it rained heavily, which was a pity [crying emoji]. However, the interior design is beautiful, and the service is excellent. Ordered a pizza, and they were generous with the cheese [thumbs up emoji]. Enjoyed drinks, live band, and the handsome boss [laughing emoji][laughing emoji][laughing emoji].

📍Ali Nasi Lemak Daun Pisang (Figure 7)
Must-try breakfast! Another place with a queue! A pack costs RM3, and two packs are enough. However, the sambal is very spicy, perfect for spice lovers [thumbs up emoji][winking emoji][winking emoji].

📍China House Penang (Figure 8)
Tiramisu lovers should head here. There are many cake options, including Tiramisu with or without alcohol. Each table has a white paper and crayons for drawing, and they keep your artwork as a keepsake! A very worthwhile cafe to visit [heart emoji][two hearts emoji].

📍Kia Lai Cake Pastry (Figure 9)
Various flavors of cheesetarts, especially recommended are the lemon and cocoa flavors.

📍Kedai Kopi Seow Fong Lye (Figure 10)
This was my breakfast on the third day. I heard from the customers that it used to be for the locals, but now it’s mostly tourists. Go early if you want to visit. You can order stir-fried kueh teow and egg rolls. The chee cheong fun is not to my KL taste, but you might want to try it [selfie emoji].
📍Weld Quay Oo Gio (Figure 11)
After visiting Chew Jetty and feeling hot, I wanted a cold drink. Across the road, there’s a truck selling aiyu jelly, which is very refreshing and reasonably priced!
📍Ai Hoe Hoe Koay Teow Th’ng (Figure 12)
Haha, this late-night eatery is open until 4 AM. I saw high ratings online, so I waited an hour for my midnight snack. I ordered dry tomyam noodles, and it was good, no complaints 👌.
📍Hon Kei Food Corner, Penang (Figure 13)
The best pork noodles in Penang? This is the best I’ve had so far. The broth is clear and sweet, and the pork kidney is tender without any gamey smell, good 👍.
