Sabah, Kota Kinabalu | You can chase one of the world’s top 3 sunsets right from the hotel

I arrived in Kota Kinabalu after extensive research and finally decided on the Hyatt Centric. My stay was truly exceptional:

1. The room service was impressively swift, with staff arriving at my door within just a few minutes of my request.

2. The front desk offers Chinese language support, providing excellent and friendly service. This is incredibly helpful for guests who may not be as comfortable with English, making their stay much more enjoyable and stress-free.

3. From the rooftop, you can take in a breathtaking view of the entire harbor, enjoying a stunning sunset without even leaving the hotel! The pool is absolutely gorgeous —it’s hands down the most beautiful pool in all of Sabah.

4. The location is incredibly convenient!! It’s just a 10-15 minute taxi ride from the airport; it’s also very close to the ferry terminal, making it easy to explore the sea; right next to the hotel is Gaya Street, and across the street is the Suria Sabah Shopping Mall, so you’re never far from shopping, dining, or picking up souvenirs.

5. The breakfast buffet is a feast for the senses, offering a wide variety of options . You can enjoy both Chinese and Western cuisines, including freshly made waffles, an array of cheeses, and delicious soup noodles. After such a hearty breakfast, you might find yourself skipping lunch, hahaha. Plus, you can choose to sit outside and savor your meal while taking in the beautiful sea view .
