🍹 Hidden Langkawi is not just the ultimate spot to catch the sunset 🌅 on Pantai Cenang Beach; it also offers a delightful array of delicious and budget-friendly food and drinks.
🌄 Beach Sunset:
The sun sets around 7:30 PM, and we arrived at Canting restaurant by 6 PM. The place was already bustling with people. Initially, they seated us on the first floor, but after we expressed our preference and insisted on the second floor, they managed to find us a table on the balcony. This turned out to be the perfect vantage point for watching the sunset!
🌅 A seaside sunset, 🌴 swaying palm trees, and 🍹 an Instagram-worthy drink create a breathtaking scene that’s hard to forget.
🍭 Food and Drinks:
We ordered a variety of dishes, including 🍕 pizza, 🌮 tacos, 🍟 thick-cut fries, and 🍸 refreshing drinks, and every single one was a hit. The prices were surprisingly reasonable, with our entire meal costing less than 100 Malaysian Ringgit. A generously topped pizza costs just over 40 Malaysian Ringgit, and the tacos were packed with flavorful fillings. And who can resist those crispy, thick-cut fries?
🌈 Atmosphere:
🍴 The restaurant has a fantastic ambiance. Most of the dining area on the first floor is open-air, so don’t forget to apply sunscreen as it can get quite sunny before the sun sets. There’s a live singer performing classic English songs, adding to the vibrant atmosphere. If someone is celebrating a birthday, the whole place joins in singing 🎂 “Happy Birthday,” making it a truly memorable experience.
Right outside the restaurant, you’ll find the 🏖️ beach, where you can take a leisurely stroll and bask in the cool sea breeze after your meal.
