Originally, I was drawn to the enchanting pink beaches and the legendary Komodo dragons, but this journey turned out to be a treasure trove of surprises. With its serene beauty and minimal crowds, it truly felt like an authentic island adventure!

🧳 Travel Preparation
💳 Visa: You can easily obtain a visa on arrival for 35 USD or 500,000 IDR.
🛫 Flights: Start by flying into Bali, then take a short 1-hour flight to Labuan Bajo.
💰 Currency: It’s wise to exchange some Indonesian Rupiah in advance.

✈️ Transportation Guide
🛩️ External Transportation: Direct flights are available from Bali or Jakarta to Komodo Airport. Once you arrive in Labuan Bajo, daily speedboat tours are readily available to explore the islands.
🚕 Internal Transportation: Navigating the island can be a bit challenging, as transportation mainly relies on boats and a limited number of taxis. Taxis start at around 100,000 IDR (approximately 50 RMB), which is relatively high.

📸 Must-Visit Attractions
[One R] Komodo National Park: A UNESCO World Heritage site, this is the prime location to witness the majestic Komodo dragons in their natural habitat.
[Two R] Padar Island: Embark on a scenic hike to the summit, where you’ll be rewarded with breathtaking views of black, white, and pink beaches.

It’s a photographer’s paradise!
[Three R] Pink Beach: Over 80% of the beaches on Komodo and Padar Islands boast naturally pink sand, making them one of only seven such beaches in the world.
[Four R] Kanawa Island: This island is a year-round diving haven, with warm waters, vibrant coral reefs, and a diverse array of marine life.

Perfect for snorkeling and scuba diving enthusiasts.
[Five R] Crescent Beach: Known for its crystal-clear, glass-like waters and a charming crescent-shaped shoreline, this beach is a must-see.
[Six R] Bat Island: As the sun sets, watch in awe as millions of bats take flight from the caves, creating a mesmerizing spectacle.

🌮 Food Recommendations
🦞 Seafood Feast: Indulge in fresh grouper, succulent lobster, and juicy crabs.
🥗 Indonesian Specialties: Savor local delights such as Balinese roasted suckling pig, satay, gado-gado (a delicious vegetable salad with peanut sauce), and nasi goreng (Indonesian fried rice).
