Depart from your Surabaya hotel to Mount Bromo, a 3-4 hour drive. Since it’s a night trip, make sure to wear warm clothes and bring a headlamp or flashlight.
Upon arrival at the jeep assembly point, hop into a jeep and head to the Penanjakan viewpoint to await the stunning sunrise.
After soaking in the sunrise, descend to the Bromo crater, where you can get up close and feel the awe-inspiring power of the volcano. Please pay attention to safety guidelines.
