Bromo volcano is often hailed as the “place on Earth that most resembles the moon.” Imagine a sky filled with stars, a breathtaking sunrise
, and a sea of clouds
. After witnessing the sunrise, I took a car ride through the vast sand sea, a journey that left me with memories to cherish for a lifetime.

While you might think Bromo is just another volcano, it’s actually a trio of volcanic peaks The lonely, serene, and gray rocks seem to whisper tales of a world beyond our own
.

You might assume it’s an easy feat, but it’s far from it! Have you ever tried starting a mountain climb at 2 or 3 AM
? It’s freezing冷冷冷, and the journey is both dirty and tiring. Finally, after a grueling ascent, I reached the sunrise viewing platform. The wind
at the top was so fierce it gave me a pounding headache. It was truly exhausting and extremely challenging.

My sincere advice about visiting Bromo volcano:
I don’t recommend it for those with poor physical condition. If you must come, take frequent breaks, rest when tired, and bring some food to replenish your energy.
Everyone starts early in the morning, climbing to the mountain top where the wind is strong, so it’s wise to bring a hat.

The round trip to the sunrise viewing platform takes about an hour, while the round trip to the crater takes 1.5-2 hours.
Wear comfortable shoes
suitable for walking.
The temperature before sunrise can drop to around 10 degrees, so it’s best to wear a fleece jacket or a hoodie plus a coat. However, have both short-sleeved and long-sleeved clothes, as the temperature at the crater can rise to 25 degrees or higher after sunrise.

Be sure to bring a mask and goggles, as you will end up covered in volcanic ash no matter what.
The top of the mountain is crowded, and there are cliffs nearby, which can be quite dangerous. Everyone must be careful when taking photos.

The article really captures the essence of Bromo! The sunrise view was even more breathtaking than I imagined, but the crowds were definitely a surprise. Tips like arriving early and wearing warm clothes would have been helpful to know beforehand.
