This enchanting destination in Southeast Asia has long been at the top of my travel bucket list. National Geographic once hailed it as the place on Earth that most closely resembles the lunar surface, and it’s easy to see why.
After finally witnessing its awe-inspiring beauty with my own eyes, I can confidently say that it is truly a sight to behold. Despite battling Bali Belly and a fever, I was determined to include this magical place in my itinerary. I even set out in the middle of the night, staying up all night, and though it was exhausting, it was an experience that I will cherish forever.
Some people say: Once you’ve gazed upon Bromo, it’s hard to be content with an ordinary life. This sentiment resonates deeply with me, especially after experiencing some of the world’s most breathtaking landscapes.
People often ponder the meaning of life, asking: What is the purpose of our existence? Why do we seek meaning? Is the pursuit of meaning really that important?
Perhaps the answer lies in the value we place on “meaning.” If meaning isn’t significant, then what else could be? For me, the essence of life is encapsulated in the phrase:
NEVER STOP EXPLORING,
until the day when the world’s scenery no longer surprises me.

Mount Bromo truly lives up to its reputation as a mystical wonderland. The otherworldly landscapes were even more breathtaking than I imagined, especially during sunrise.
