**6 Days and 5 Nights in Fukuoka – Itinerary**

Fukuoka isn’t very large, so 2-3 days in the city are plenty. That’s why this itinerary includes a day trip to nearby Kumamoto and a 2-day, 1-night stay in Itoshima.

**Tenjin & Hakata** – Two major shopping districts to fulfill all your retail needs.
**Ohori Park** and the adjacent Japanese garden offer stunning scenery, perfect for leisurely relaxation.
**Neighborhood bakeries and cafés** are everywhere—taking a break feels like pure bliss.
A **less-than-1-hour bus ride** easily transports you to Itoshima for a seaside getaway.

The whole trip is fairly relaxed and comfortable—no “special forces” style rushing. Slowing down and enjoying Fukuoka like a local is a great way to vacation!
If you have extra energy, you could also visit Nanzoin Temple—there’s definitely time for it. But I’ll save that for next time… because I’m coming back!
This itinerary looks perfect for a relaxed Fukuoka trip! I especially love the idea of visiting Itoshima for a couple of days—it seems like such a peaceful escape. The mix of urban shopping and natural spots like Ohori Park is just what I was looking for. Thanks for putting this together!
