The prices here are refreshingly affordable compared to Tokyo, offering an incredible value for money—especially when it comes to the fresh, mouthwatering cuisine. From exquisite raw delicacies to sizzling grilled meats, every bite is a delight. What truly stood out was the genuine hospitality—every shop I wandered into, even randomly, greeted me with the perfect balance of warmth and professionalism. The owners and staff radiated authentic friendliness, making me feel instantly welcome.

The only amusing quirk? Being constantly mistaken for Korean—apparently due to the overwhelming number of Korean tourists in the area. While it happened often, it never felt offensive, just a lighthearted reminder of the city’s vibrant international vibe. If anything, it added to the charm of the experience!

I totally agree about Fukuoka’s charm! The combination of great food at reasonable prices and the friendly locals really makes the city stand out. It sounds like a place that offers both comfort and excitement. I’d love to explore it someday!
