Discover the Louvre Abu Dhabi: A Complete Guide to Art, Exhibits & Visitor Tips in the UAE
Yesterday afternoon, I headed over after a morning visit to the presidential palace left me feeling a bit heatstroked and low on energy—so much so that I didn’t even feel like taking many photos. 😮💨
In my opinion, this spot is hands down the most worthwhile place to see in all of Abu Dhabi! 🌊
I even snapped a photo from the exact same angle as Jay Chou—what a fun surprise! ✔️🫶🏻 Though I should mention, getting up to that viewpoint does involve a bit of a climb. 😂
The Louvre Abu Dhabi, beautifully situated over the water, stands as the only international branch of the famed French Louvre.
Inside, you’ll discover an impressive collection of artworks from around the globe, and exploring the entire museum takes roughly three hours. 🛒
I skipped the photo op on the seaside runway where Liu Yifei famously posed—the line was incredibly long, and as an introvert, the crowd felt a little too overwhelming.
😱
What really stood out to me was the architecture; every corner of this place feels like a masterpiece, utterly breathtaking. 💙
The view from the top was worth the climb, especially spotting the same angle as Jay Chou. The museum blends art and architecture seamlessly. A great pick for families looking to mix culture with a bit of adventure.
The view from the upper level, where the light filters through the dome, felt like a quiet moment of connection to the art. It’s easy to see why the museum stands out in Abu Dhabi. The climb was worth it, especially for that iconic angle.
