Bazurto Market stands as the largest and most vibrant local market in the area. To get there, you can hop on a bus from the old city and alight at Tubar Station. From there, enter the market at point 7 and navigate through its labyrinthine pathways. Be prepared—the environment might feel overwhelming with its chaotic energy and bustling atmosphere, but it’s all part of the adventure. Push forward, and you’ll eventually reach the food stalls.

Here, bargaining is not just allowed—it’s encouraged! After some friendly negotiation, I scored a delicious plate of stir-fried lobster rice (as seen in picture 6) for only 50,000 pesos. The flavors were satisfying and well worth the experience.
