🪂Fethiye
Book a paragliding session one day in advance based on the weather. You can find highly-rated pilots on 🍠, compare prices from multiple sources, and usually, it includes hotel pick-up and drop-off. I found a coach who was the same as Gong Jun, with a good and enthusiastic attitude, and he took hundreds of beautiful photos for me 📷.

💐Kas
Kas is a small town with a slow pace and an artistic atmosphere. You can go to the ancient theater at sunset to enjoy the view, and if you’re lucky, there might be a live band performance 🎺. Listening to music while waiting for the night to fall over the Mediterranean is a very romantic experience 🌅.

🏝️Antalya
The largest coastal city in southern Turkey. If possible, book a sea-view room at a cliffside hotel. There are also private beaches where you can sunbathe ☀️. Suggested attractions: Hadrian’s Gate, the Ancient Roman Harbor, Duden Waterfalls, Aspendos Ancient Theater (80 km away), and the Temple of Apollo (60 km away).

You can also relax and take a walk in the coastal park [Flying Kiss R].
🎈Cappadocia
This was the last stop in Turkey and the highlight of the trip [Sexy R]. The unique landscape of Goreme town was truly stunning! When in Cappadocia, you must experience the cave hotels and the world-famous hot air balloons [Fire R].

Whether the hot air balloons fly depends on the weather of the day. Usually, the price is quoted the day before, and you can decide by comparing the quotes from the hotel owner and other travel agencies. Our price was 160 euros, which was in the mid-range. It’s recommended to book early, as the later you book, the higher the price [Sob R].

Riding in the first batch of hot air balloons in the early morning, slowly ascending, made me feel the joy and meaning of life 💖.
🔅Suggested attractions: Pigeon Valley, Fairy Chimneys, Uchisar Castle, Derinkuyu Underground City (inconvenient transportation) [Petrified R].
❗️Make sure to book a pick-up from Kayseri Airport in advance!

Otherwise, after landing, you’ll only have the option of expensive taxis or buses to Goreme [Crying R]. I’m extremely grateful that we met a Chinese tour group, and the brothers and sisters let us ride their bus for free and even gave us the best seats. This was the most touching part of the trip 💞.

⚠️Other Notes
❣️About D400 Road Trip: When picking up the car, make a video and photo record of the vehicle. The driver should preferably be experienced, as some sections of the road are not easy to drive [Grass Planting R].
❣️About Food: Turkish cuisine mainly features grilled meat, bread, and desserts, with strong flavors and large portions.

A meal for two usually costs around 300 RMB (not near tourist areas). You can bring some Chinese snacks just in case.
❣️About Scams: Most people encountered during this trip were friendly, but there are more scammers in Istanbul. Be cautious of the famous shoe polish scam and those who offer to help you swipe your bus card.
Keep a close eye on your personal belongings, but to be honest, it’s generally very safe [Wow R].
