For your stay in Istanbul, I recommend choosing a location near the old city. This area is vibrant, safe, and close to many attractions. One standout option is the Cronton Design Hotel, originally a bank that has been beautifully transformed into a luxurious lodging experience.
The service here is impeccable, and the rooftop terrace provides breathtaking views of the iconic Blue Mosque. It’s just a short walk to both the pier and the mosque, with excellent transportation links making it easy to explore further.
Fethiye
In Fethiye, you have two main choices: staying in the bustling city center or opting for something more serene near the Dead Sea. We chose Deep Ocean in Kabak, which, while slightly remote, offers jaw-dropping views as compensation. The property is home to three well-mannered Labradors and occasionally some cats, adding to its charm.
The staff and fellow guests are incredibly friendly, and the meals—both breakfast and dinner—are outstanding. With plenty of entertainment options available, this spot tends to attract European and American travelers looking for a relaxing getaway.
Kaş
Kaş is a charmingly small town, so your choice of accommodation won’t drastically impact your experience. However, if you’re after stunning sea views, the Mavlim Hotel is an excellent pick. It boasts private beach access, and its seaside restaurant and bar offer picturesque settings where you can unwind while enjoying the natural beauty surrounding you.
Antalya
The old town of Antalya offers numerous accommodation options, all conveniently located within walking distance of nearby eateries and attractions. While the beach may be a bit farther away, the old town itself exudes a delightful charm that makes up for it. By the time you reach Antalya, you might find yourself ready for a break from the sea, and the historic ambiance of the old town will surely provide just what you need.
Cappadocia
In Göreme, Luna Hotel stands out as a top choice thanks to its expansive terrace, perfect for watching the mesmerizing hot air balloons drift across the sky at sunrise. If you’re open to venturing slightly outside Göreme, I highly recommend the Sacred House in a neighboring town.
