**Advantages:**
Nestled on a hillside, the resort sprawls across several buildings, creating an impressive layout with approximately a hundred rooms. Its design ensures both privacy and spaciousness, making it a perfect retreat.
The amenities here are nothing short of exceptional, offering everything from an infinity pool overlooking breathtaking vistas to a state-of-the-art gym, rejuvenating spa treatments, a rooftop restaurant for fine dining, a children’s playground for family fun, a cozy café, a trendy sky bar, and well-equipped meeting rooms. This variety caters to all kinds of travelers, whether they’re seeking relaxation, adventure, or business conveniences.
The staff deserves special mention for their exceptional patience and attentiveness. A standout was the Filipino gentleman at the front desk, who spoke fluent English and facilitated seamless communication during our stay.
Our sea-view room was a highlight, boasting panoramic ocean views that were simply mesmerizing. The cost-performance ratio was excellent, making it ideal for enjoying sunrises and sunsets in serene tranquility. Moreover, its location was tucked away in a quieter part of the resort, enhancing the peaceful atmosphere.
**Disadvantages:**
The hotel is situated on a secluded uphill slope, slightly removed from the bustling Patong area by about 2-3 kilometers (as seen in the second picture). While this adds to its tranquil charm, it does mean some distance from central attractions. To address this, the hotel offers complimentary shuttle buses to the beach at fixed intervals throughout the day, typically five or six trips.
One notable inconvenience is the lack of nearby pharmacies, fruit vendors, or eateries. The closest convenience store, a 711, is located downhill, roughly 800 meters away. Walking there under the scorching sun can be exhausting and impractical, while taking a taxi might not be budget-friendly. As a workaround, we often requested drivers to wait while we shopped, allowing us to quickly grab essentials before returning to the hotel together.
We also tipped the drivers as a token of appreciation for their time and effort.
