✈️Transport:
Bogotá to Medellín ✈️ 1h

🏨Accommodation:
This time I chose a homestay 🏨 ANTÍPODA HOTEL
It’s about a 15-minute walk from El Poblado. It has a very island vibe, and overall it’s decent. Breakfast is included 🥣, but the environment is a bit primitive. I woke up early in the morning to find I was sleeping with 🐛 and got scared awake 🙀.

🚶➡️Itinerary:
This time, I went on a very touristy trip without any special missions. My relaxed itinerary plan:
Day 1⃣️
After landing, I went straight for lunch at Oppa Asado: I had a so-called delicious Korean meal, which made me ponder, but considering I’m in Colombia, I thought it was okay 😂, just don’t have too high expectations.

Then, I headed to the city center.
🎨The Museum of Antioquia is worth a visit!
🏛️Palace of Culture Rafael Uribe, you can visit for free if you register your passport (it’s recommended to allocate 3-4 hours for the above).
In the evening, I returned to El Poblado for a city walk 🚶♀️. It’s generally quite safe, but women should still be cautious!

☕️Pergamino, a famous local coffee shop.
🍦Dessert at Amor-Acuya Gelato: It’s really delicious! Everyone should try it!
🥣Dinner at Restaurante Mondongo: I had the must-try tripe soup in Medellín, which was very good! A small portion is enough for women. The avocado that came with it was a bit unripe, and I didn’t know how to eat the banana and avocado together 😂, whether to mix them or eat separately.

Day 2️⃣
I went out with friends I met on xhs in Medellín, and I’m really grateful!! I originally planned to join a tour to Comuna 13, but my friend from xhs took me there, and I found out that it wasn’t necessary to join a tour. The area is already a well-developed and mature tourist attraction. As long as you don’t go into the alleys, it’s generally safe, and it takes about an hour to explore.

You can try the local specialty popsicles, made from fresh frozen fruits.
🚠Cable car to San Javier, where you can overlook the entire slum area. It’s really impressive, and I recommend getting off at the second-to-last station for a better view! We took a round trip.
In the afternoon, we rushed to see the annual Flower Festival 💐.

Although it rained heavily, I was still very happy. I love Medellín!!
