Most parking areas on the island are complimentary. The few places where we did pay included Valldemossa, where parking cost 2 euros for 4 hours (free after 8 pm), and the underground lot beneath Palma’s cathedral, which charged 3 euros per hour.

🚗 Car Rental Companies
Selecting a car rental provider outside the airport is significantly more budget-friendly compared to those within the terminal. Just across from the airport exit, you’ll find shuttle services for various companies, typically located about 5-10 minutes away. When it’s time to return your vehicle, they’ll conveniently drop you back at the airport.

Spain’s Mallorca Island is expansive, and renting a car for a self-drive adventure is highly recommended. We ventured all the way to the northernmost tip, navigating scenic mountain roads that were surprisingly well-maintained and a joy to drive. Just remember to stay mindful of right-of-way rules and courteous yielding while enjoying your journey!
