Cartagena (Finally finished writing)
The old town is a labyrinth of charm, waiting to be explored at your own pace. Each corner reveals a new perspective—some alleys twist back to reveal the towering spires of Catholic churches, while others open up to breathtaking views of the endless sea. The alleys housing churches or museums are typically more lively, buzzing with locals and visitors alike.

Accommodation: For convenience and to cut down on transportation costs, it’s best to stay within the old town. If you’re after a stunning sea view right from your window, then a seaside hotel is a must.

Transportation: Uber is incredibly efficient and easy to use here.

Attractions: To me, every nook and cranny of the old town is an attraction in itself. But if I had to recommend one place, the Bolivar Museum offers fascinating insights into Cartagena’s history. However, my personal favorite is sipping an iced Americano at Ábaco Libros y Café, followed by watching the sunset paint the old town in hues of gold and crimson from Cafe del Mar around 6 PM.

Dining: I made a special trip to Restaurant Candé for its delightful ambiance and exquisite taste. For the rest of my meals, I simply followed my instincts and dined wherever felt right in the moment.

I hope that next time I visit, I won’t be alone—and perhaps we can embark on some unforgettable island-hopping adventures together!
