First stop in South America: Medellín
A city that pulses with a mix of energy and complexity.

I began my journey by visiting the iconic Comuna 13, a neighborhood transformed from its turbulent past into a vibrant hub of street art and culture. The Arvi Park offered a refreshing escape—a serene natural reserve where I could breathe in the lush greenery and enjoy panoramic views of the city below.

Strolling through Plaza Botero, I marveled at Fernando Botero’s whimsical sculptures dotting the square, each one telling its own story of Colombian identity.

While Medellín isn’t chaotic like some might expect, it’s important to note that safety remains a concern. As I walked the streets, I couldn’t help but notice the persistent stares from men, which left me feeling uneasy [AngryR]. Despite this, the city’s charm and resilience are undeniable.
