As we made our ascent, the heavens opened up and rain began to pour. The two of us, opting to trek on foot rather than ride horses, found ourselves enveloped in the earthy aroma of fresh soil mingling with the scent of horse manure. With every slippery step, we tumbled and slid our way up the muddy slopes, laughing all the way despite—or perhaps because of—the chaos 😂🤣.
