I’ve dreamed of setting foot on South American soil countless times, but for one reason or another, the trip kept getting delayed. I’ve always felt that exploring this faraway continent demands careful preparation, peak physical and mental condition, and the courage to embrace the unknown. Finally, in June 2024, after an endless flight, the moment I had long anticipated arrived.
My South American adventure began in Bogotá, Colombia’s vibrant capital, from where I headed southward. With this journey, I’ve now stepped onto all seven continents—save for Antarctica.
