Over the past two days, I returned to Medellin from the Caribbean region for a much-needed break. By chance, I had dinner with him, and we swapped countless hilarious stories. The most fascinating ones have already been shared in the top comment. All I can say is that discovering some truly unique experiences made my trip to Medellin feel completely worthwhile 😂.

However, they were so unconventional that I’ve decided not to write a fresh post about them 😂. Honestly, I’m terrified of getting banned from posting altogether—hahaha.

Medellin is a mountainous city, much like Chongqing. His apartment sits perched on the side of a hill. One late night, we ventured out for a snack and stumbled upon a ball at the entrance to his building. On a whim, we tossed it into the security guard’s room, only to watch in awe as it rolled uncontrollably down the steep slope. Without hesitation, we hopped into the car and chased after it until we reached the flat area at the bottom of the mountain.
I mentioned to him that everyone seems to think Medellin is incredibly dangerous, but he disagreed, insisting it’s actually very safe. I joked, “Of course it’s safe for you—you’re huge and covered in tattoos!” After indulging in some street tacos, we headed home. As he sped along an empty street, I told him how my mom always assumes South America is perilous.
He laughed and suggested, “You could send her a photo of us together to scare her.” While filming a video, I quipped, “If she knew I was hanging out with someone who looks like you, she’d probably book a ticket here and come to kill me,” which sent him into fits of laughter.
We struck a deal to collaborate, and he needed my help with lighting. I was thrilled—after all, who wouldn’t be excited to work with such a stunning woman! Unfortunately, the location we booked for the shoot was canceled by the landlord because the previous guest had broken the showerhead, leaving no time to secure a new spot.
The next day, I had to move in with a grandfather I met in Machu Picchu, so I missed out on what would have been an unforgettable experience assisting in a p0rn shoot in Medellin. (Based on his accounts and confirmations from American friends: Medellin’s pr0stituti0n and p0rn industries are highly developed, drawing many people here for hedonistic getaways.

I had never encountered anyone from this industry before, so I was brimming with curiosity and peppered him with questions. We delved deeply into how he entered the business, how he sets his rates, and the meticulous preparation and planning behind each collaboration. I wondered if he ever felt any personal reactions during shoots, and he replied, “I’m working, focusing on finding the best angles and perfecting the lighting—there’s simply no time for distractions.
Plus, everyone has their own preferences when it comes to p0rn, and you don’t always get what suits your taste.” I was genuinely impressed. For the actors and clients, this is just another aspect of their job, distinct from the audience’s perspective.
Fascinating, isn’t it? It’s the diversity of life that makes everything so intriguing—it’s exactly the Medellin I envisioned, hahaha.
