🧡DAY 1: Milan ✈️ Naples
🔹Morning: Naples Airport 🚌 Pompeii Ruins 🌋
Transportation: After exiting the airport, take the “Curreri Viaggi” bus directly to Pompeii (12 euros per person). The ride takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive, walk a short distance to the Porta Marina entrance.
💡Tip: Pompeii opens at 9:00 AM.

We purchased tickets for 18 euros each. The site is vast, so plan to spend at least 2-3 hours exploring. Be sure to wear comfortable and lightweight shoes—it’s essential for navigating the ancient pathways!

🔹Afternoon: Pompeii Ruins 🌋 → Sorrento 🏡
Transportation: After your tour, retrace your steps to the L1 train station near Pompeii’s Porta Marina gate. Turn right after exiting the gate and walk about 100 meters to find the ticket counter. A one-way ticket to Sorrento costs roughly 4.6 euros per person.

💡Tip: Sorrento was our base for the trip, conveniently located near Capri Island and Positano. Prices here are relatively affordable compared to other areas. While Positano is another stunning Amalfi Coast gem (similar to Cinque Terre), we decided not to visit it to avoid rushing through our itinerary.

🧡DAY 2: Sorrento 🚤 Capri
🔹Morning: Capri Island Adventure 🛥️
Transportation: Begin your day with a scenic boat ride from Marina Piccola in Sorrento to Capri Island. Boats run frequently, and tickets can be purchased directly at the dock. It’s recommended to buy round-trip tickets upfront for convenience.

On the day of our visit, the latest return time was 16:05 (during peak season, booking online via Ferryhopper might be necessary).
💡Tip: Upon arrival at the port, you’ll have three options for boat tours:
1. **Yellow Line**: A full island tour for 24 euros, passing by the famous Blue Grotto (but note that if the queue is too long, the boat won’t stop).

2. **Blue Line**: Direct access to the Blue Grotto for 23 euros.
3. **Private Boat**: A luxurious option costing around 200 euros.
We opted for the Yellow Line tour, which showcased breathtaking views of Capri Island. However, due to the long queues at the Blue Grotto, we didn’t stop there. If visiting the Blue Grotto is a priority, choose the Blue Line instead!

🌟Pro Tip: Follow the Facebook page Info Grotta Azzurra for daily updates on whether the Blue Grotto will be open (announced at 9:00 AM). Additionally, entry to the Blue Grotto requires an extra fee of 18 euros per person plus a 5-euro tip for the boatman.
🔹Afternoon: Gardens of Augustus 🌸
Transportation: From the port, take a local bus up the mountain (the ticket booth is located on the right side of the port; select the direction toward Capri and disembark at the final stop). After alighting, you’ll find yourself on Capri’s charming commercial street.
Walk straight for about 10 minutes to reach the Gardens of Augustus.
💡Tip: This spot is a must-visit! At the entrance, you’ll see two options: a free pass or a 2.5-euro ticket. Choose the free option—it grants access to all the iconic photo spots and offers jaw-dropping views!

🧡DAY 3: Sorrento 🚂 Naples 🍕
Transportation: Head back to the train station to purchase L1 train tickets (approximately 6 euros per person). The journey takes about an hour.
💡Tip: Upon arrival in Naples, make a beeline for the city’s oldest pizzeria, L’antica Pizzeria Da Michele. Be prepared for a lengthy queue—takeaway is a faster option, allowing you to grab your pizza in about 30 minutes. Don’t miss out on this quintessential Neapolitan experience!
