Are the areas that netizens strongly advise against really as bad as they say? I booked an Airbnb just a three-minute walk from La Moneda metro station. This station is right in the heart of the city, near the iconic Plaza de Armas •ᴗ•💧, which, surprisingly, is also the area many people try to avoid.

Yesterday was Sunday, and most places were closed, but the Plaza de Armas was still bustling with people. Today, on Monday, the shops and restaurants are open, and the streets are lively and vibrant, though the Plaza de Armas itself is not as crowded as it was yesterday.

When it comes to using my phone, I’m extremely cautious. Before taking it out, I always scan my surroundings to ensure it’s safe. After quickly checking or using it, I immediately put it back in my pocket, never leaving it in the side pockets of my pants for even a moment.
