El Loa Airport 🚗 San Pedro de Atacama
Picked up the car at Calama Airport and set off on a journey to Atacama, where the landscape was strikingly desolate, with only one lonely llama crossing our path [Crying Laughing Emoji]. The stark contrast from the lush Easter Island left me feeling a bit disoriented… On the first day, we acclimatized at a lower altitude of 2300-3400 meters, and we’ll see how it goes from there.

Our first stop was the nearby Laguna Chaxa, a mesmerizing salt lake. In the distance, flocks of flamingos painted the horizon with their vibrant colors, but only a few ventured close enough for us to admire [Crying Emoji].
