Stepping onto Easter Island feels like embarking on a journey through the corridors of time and space. The colossal Moai statues, scattered across the landscape, stand as silent sentinels of an ancient era. If you have the opportunity, I highly recommend exploring the island by car. You’ll often stumble upon a Moai in the most unexpected corners, perhaps even the loneliest one, silently guarding this land and bearing witness to the island’s rich history and civilization.
Easter Island, with its serene weather, surpasses all expectations. It’s not just about the Moais; the people and the dogs on the island exude a natural sense of tranquility. Here, I’ve come to realize that there’s no need for constant anxiety. Perhaps by letting go of some desires, one can truly find peace.
