Booked an unforgettable day trip to Valparaíso for the weekend, and I can’t recommend it enough with a full 5 stars ! This charming, laid-back town, recognized by UNESCO as a
World Heritage City
, is a vibrant tapestry of colors, diverse architecture, and stunning murals and street art that adorn every corner. The tour is packed with exciting stops, making for a wonderfully full day. Here are some of my favorite highlights:

️ The city’s graffiti murals, which tell stories of history and local perspectives
Pic 1/2: the whimsical piano stairs
Pic 8: the inspiring “heal the world” mural, with a cute doghouse next to it
Can you spot the unique doors in Pic 9 and Pic 10?
Pic 11: the thought-provoking “libre Palestina” mural

️ An elevator that has been operating since 1902, gliding up and down the steep hills
Pic 12: the historic elevator itself
Pic 13: the control room, where you can see the turntable and belts in action—quite a thrilling sight!

️ A captivating performance by a local guide showcasing traditional Chilean dance; there’s even a video to relive the moment!
️ A beachside restaurant brimming with sunshine and joy
Pic 15: the perfect spot, filled to the brim with happiness!

️ The highlight of the trip!
Moai statues
These are the only two Moai not located on Easter Island, offering a rare glimpse into ancient relics without the need to travel thousands of miles.
One is here, and the other is in the British Museum (though the British claim it was a gift from God to the Queen, locals believe it was taken unfairly!)

And to top it all off, it was an international tour group, with a fantastic mix of English and Spanish speakers, all for just 300 RMB. What a delightful
adventure, definitely one for the books!
