The waterfalls on each side offer distinct experiences. Judging from photographs, the Argentine side appears more exhilarating and adventurous.

When it comes to views of the falls, most of the cascades are situated on the Argentine side. This means that from the Brazilian side, you can take in an awe-inspiring panoramic view of all the waterfalls at once. On the Argentine side, however, you’ll need to explore various spots along the trails to admire the falls up close, which makes the experience even more breathtaking due to your proximity to the roaring waters.

In terms of convenience, the Argentine side boasts multiple hiking trails, each offering a round-trip duration of about half an hour. Meanwhile, the Brazilian side features only one trail, though visitors have the option to return by vehicle after reaching the endpoint, saving time and energy.
