This spot wasn’t initially on the agenda, but it turned out to be stunningly beautiful, and the cherry on top? It was a gloriously sunny day!
📍The destination is Qiguan Ding, located in Lianjiang County, Fuzhou.
🚗To get there, hop on a high-speed train from Fuzhou or Fuzhou South Station to Lianjiang Station. Once you exit the station, plenty of shared taxis are available for 30 RMB per person, and the ride to the base of the mountain takes around 50 minutes.

The climb up the mountain lasts about 40 minutes, offering breathtaking views along the way. However, keep in mind—there are no restrooms on the trail! On the bright side, you’ll find numerous unmanned water vending machines operating on an honor system, so you can stay hydrated with ease!

🚢Now, about those two abandoned ships in the photo—we spotted them by the seaside as we made our way here. On our way back, we asked the driver to wait for us by the roadside for ten minutes so we could explore and snap some memorable shots!
