Iguazu Falls is just a stone’s throw away from Parque de Aves, South America’s largest bird park. This incredible sanctuary has been thriving for three decades and has played a pivotal role in conservation efforts. While I was familiar with the stunning macaws and elegant flamingos, many of the other feathered residents were new to me.

Nevertheless, their vibrant colors and energetic antics left me utterly mesmerized. Each species is accompanied by a thorough description, and every section is thoughtfully separated to ensure the birds don’t make uninvited visits to their neighbors [laughs].
