✈️🚌: On November 30th, the bus fare to your destination is a steep 28,000 ARS (approximately 210 RMB). However, if you’re looking for a more budget-friendly option, consider Flybondi’s flight at just 25,000 ARS. Not only does it save you money, but the journey also takes a mere 1.5 hours! Plus, no need to stress about extra baggage fees—they don’t check.

Once you land, hop on the Rio Uruguay bus from the airport parking lot for a wallet-friendly 2,000 ARS (about 15 RMB) to the city’s main hub, the 📍Puerto Iguazu Bus Station. The city itself is compact and charming, with plenty of accommodations close to the center—most even come equipped with refreshing swimming pools.

Greenwood Bookmarks 📗: Iguazu Falls stands as one of the world’s three largest waterfalls and boasts the title of being the widest. It’s no wonder this natural wonder has become an iconic destination, partly thanks to its starring role in the movie “Happy Together.” Here’s a fun trivia tidbit: the Iguazu scenes in the film were actually shot on the Brazilian side!

🌊: From the same bus station, catch a ride with Rio Uruguay, where buses run conveniently every 15 minutes. A round-trip ticket costs 4,000 ARS, and the scenic drive to the park entrance takes around 30 minutes. Once there, tickets are priced at 20,000 ARS (roughly 150 RMB). Due to recent flooding and heavy rains, the legendary Devil’s Throat remains closed, but both the Upper and Lower Circuits are open and ready to explore.

Each circuit offers approximately 3 hours of breathtaking trails. If you’re feeling adventurous, you can also book a thrilling boat ride within the park for 40,000 ARS.

Essentials Checklist 💼: Don’t forget to pack enough snacks, drinks, sunscreen, and insect repellent for your adventure. The lush forest surrounding the falls is teeming with small wildlife, so remember not to feed them. Keep in mind that Iguazu gets incredibly hot, so feel free to dress lightly during your visit. Unfortunately, some of the best photo spots have been washed away by floods, leaving me—and many others—with a heavy heart.

Cheers & Tunes 🍺: For a fantastic evening out, head to 📍Lecker Public Bar—a must-visit bar-restaurant renowned for its vibrant music scene. Whether you’re vibing to Sza, grooving to Madonna, or dancing to Doja Cat, Gaga, Summer Walker, or countless other hits, the atmosphere here is electrifying. While Mexican eateries may dot the area, steer clear as they lack authenticity.

PS: My next journey will take me overland from Iguazu, Argentina, through Brazil, and into Paraguay, where I’ll settle in for a week. Then, it’s off from Paraguay to Brazil, marking the final stretch of my epic round-the-world trip. I’ll be spending a month and a half exploring Brazil before bringing my year-long global adventure to a temporary close.

There’s so much more to share, and I’ll do so gradually. Thank you all for sticking with me throughout this incredible journey for almost a year now 🙏. Your heartfelt private messages appreciating my detailed guides mean the world to me.
