Everything feels just right, from the pleasant surroundings to the wonderfully comfortable weather.
I’ve managed to set up my bank card and tax number. A word of caution about SIM cards at Sydney Airport! The counters are predominantly run by Indian staff, and they sell Telsim cards, not from one of the major Australian carriers.

Still a bit jet-lagged, I impulsively bought an annual plan at the airport upon arrival. It didn’t take long to realize that it was overpriced and the signal was poor. The very next day, I returned to the airport to request a refund. Initially, the attendant refused, citing various reasons. After a lengthy and somewhat heated discussion, I finally secured a full refund.

Today, I visited Coles and picked up a new SIM card for 179AUD, offering 260GB of data, which seems like a much better deal.
