Imagine traveling from Brisbane to the Gold Coast by train, a distance of nearly 100 kilometers, for only 50 cents—it’s mind-blowing! Even the ferry rides are a steal; they just put up a sign saying “All fares 50c,” as if they’re not short on money!
🤯 If I were to tap on at Sydney Airport and head to the city, it would set me back $18. But in Queensland, that same amount could get me almost half a month of bus rides. 🎉
2️⃣ Long live McDonald’s! A McDonald’s ice cream cone🍦 is also just 50 cents. I’m not sure if this deal is exclusive to Queensland, but it’s definitely not this cheap in Adelaide. It’s a sweet treat that won’t break the bank!
3️⃣ The beaches🏖️ and swimming pools in the city are free and feel like walking through a resort. You can soak up the sun and enjoy the water without spending a dime, making every day feel like a vacation.
4️⃣ The shopping malls in Queensland are huge and modern, and the ones in the City area are almost seamlessly connected. In comparison, Adelaide feels like a completely rural setting. 🤦♂️
5️⃣ This is the foggy city, Brisbane. 🌁 While the misty weather might be a bit disappointing, the vibrant and affordable lifestyle more than makes up for it.
