Drove for two hours to the outskirts of Sydney, filled with excitement to hold a wombat. I had imagined it would be soft and cuddly, but it turned out to be surprisingly firm—quite a hilarious surprise! Despite that, I still felt a bit unsatisfied. So, I decided to venture further to a place known for its wild wombats. To my delight, along the way, we were lucky enough to spot many wild kangaroos 🦘 bouncing around. There’s just something irresistibly charming about these small, unique creatures.
