Another day of playing hooky, waking up and dozing off until well past noon before finally crawling out of bed. First on the agenda was a trip to Muji at Goya to pick up some floor cleaning sheets. Then, I made my way to Ciudad Lineal for The Knife’s all-you-can-eat barbecue, priced at 23.5 euros per person.
While drinks, desserts, and main dishes are limited, salads and meats are unlimited. I was there for the beef, but unfortunately, even the medium-rare cuts were disappointingly tough. On the bright side, the chicken was a delightful surprise—crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, absolutely delicious.
The sangria was also a hit. For dessert, I indulged in a zesty lemon pie and a comforting arroz con leche. After the meal, I found a cozy bench in the park next to the restaurant, basking in the warm sun and enjoying the gentle breeze, a perfect way to recharge [Laughing]. Back home, I settled in for more lounging, had a simple dinner, and watched the classic comedy “The Hangover” [Thumbs Up].
Tomorrow, it’s back to Mercadona for more essentials [Winking]. By the way, after just two days of the statistics class, the teacher has already been the subject of a collective complaint in the group chat, and no one is planning to attend tomorrow [Disappointed].
